The Factions:

Cygnar:

Possessing the most advanced magic and technology in the realm, the Kingdom of Cygnar fields a well-rounded force that battles for the good and just King Leto Raelthorne. Caught between its old enemy Khador and the newer threat of the fanatical Protectorate of Menoth, Cygnar will need every ounce of ingenuity and bravery it has to survive the coming storm. Cygnar has a established standing army made up of solid troops, accurate ranged weapons and advanced warjacks. The army of Cygnar is flexible, disciplined and potentially devastating.

Protectorate of Menoth:

This nation was once part of Cygnar, but split off from the homeland as the result of a religious civil war. The Protectorate is a strict theocracy dedicated to the worship of humanity's ancient patron, and Hierarch Voyle seeks to spread the righteous fire of Menoth's teachings across the known world. The Protectorate of Menoth army is full of zealous warriors armed with the knowledge that they are right and their faith will allow them to prevail. As such the army of Menoth can be truly devastating in battle. With Cathedral like warjacks towering over a horde of the righteous the army of menoth is a sight to inspire faith in their allies and fear in their enemies.

Khador:

This vast kingdom has had a rivalry with Cygnar for centuries, opposing Cygnar's magical and engineering skill with unearthly toughness and brute force. Khador's methods may be unsophisticated, but they are possessed of a martial skill and spirit second to none. Khador are all about BIG armour and BIG weapons, they also have an array of highly specialist troops such as their deadly widowmakers and man-hunters. Unlike the other factions Khador do not have light warjacks – only the heavies. Even their elite troops turn themselves into the mirror image of a warjack cladding themselves in suits of steam-powered armour. When the might of Khador in on the battlefield the ground shakes with the thunder of their assault.  The might of Khador rests on their dogged determination and the ability to power through their enemies.

Cryx:

Within his remote island fortress, the Dragon Lord Toruk plans his ruthless conquest of the IRON KINGDOMS. Fleets of black warships and legions of necromantic horrors are being assembled under the undying gaze of Toruk's Lich Lords—and soon they will come calling on the mainland, marching in the shadow of the ancient wyrm himself. The army of Cryx are the epitomes of evil – a shambling, skittering horde of invigorated undead and nightmarish creations. The name Helljack is perfectly apt for the hellish warjacks whos hooked blades and scything claws slaughter anything in their path in the name of Cryx.  The troops are just as horrific from undead pirates to massively bloated death-spewing living weapons the army of Cryx is a nightmarish creation and a nightmare to battle against.

Mercenaries:

Within a land of constant conflict such as the iron Kingdoms there will always be those who wish to profit from the horrors of war. Some are simply outcasts who have no choice but to throw themselves into battle, some are blood maddened warriors who thrive on conflict and some are professional soldiers of fortune selling their skills to the highest bidder. Whether it be the hordes of Pirates, Dwarven guns, Elven hunters, outlaw warcasters or cut-throats that you choose  to accompany your force into battle, they all have their uses. Entire armies are now made up of Mercenaries and they have forged contracts to group together to take on the larger factions.
