The Human Sphere: The super-powers of old are gone, replaced by the mega-federations of the future. Nations have grouped together to form these massive amalgamations of nations and corporations each obsessed with their own powerbase. Between them they have divided up the planets and entire star-systems suitable for human habitation.
However the division of power is never stable and wars are fought almost constantly as the factions vie for power and the control of the best resources. These wars may be fought in open confrontation or hidden in the shadows of distant stars, shadowy strike teams launch assaults on colonies, elite forces storm satellites and comms centres to disrupt their enemies, transports are boarded only to be repelled by the assassin squadron hidden in the bowels of the ships. Bloody skirmishes are constant .. and it's about to get worse!
PanOceania: The largest and richest of the mega-federations with the most advanced military force in the sphere. Domineering and forceful, their constant incursions and raids into other territories often leads to conflict
Yu-Jing: Yu-Jing is the second of the major powers, and wants to be the first. This ancient power combines all the oriental races of the past in one vast nation. Yu-Jing are the only force that can match PanOceania's technology.
Nomads:The Nomads are traders travelling in three gigantic spacecraft. Moving from system to system trading or taking what they need - by whatever means necessary
Adriana: Trapped on a hostile planet in the reaches of space for centuries the Adrianes are fiercely independent and are now fighting to carve out a niche for themselves in the sphere.
Haqqislam: Humanitarian and Zealous simultaneously, the forces of Haqqislam fight to maintain the balance of nature against the domineering larger powers.
Combined Army: The alien menace! A combined army of alien species under the control of an evolved intelligence these vicious inhuman soldiers are the biggest threat the human race will ever have to endure.
